A trusted selector, curator and constant fixture of Naarm / Melbourne’s underground, Myles Mac has been a committed contributor to the wider dance community for the last 15 years. Co-founding the internationally renowned Melbourne Deepcast in 2009, the Deepcast has delivered over 270 episodes with artists considered to be some of the best in the world.

For the past decade, Mac has regularly spun around Australia and further abroad, featuring at Berlin’s ://about blank and OHM, London’s Corsica Studios, Amsterdam’s Red Light Radio, Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s, Tokyo’s Koara and Bali’s Potato Head to name a few, while closer to home he’s been tasked with opening the Sunset Stage at 2019’s Rainbow Serpent Festival and has featured at Pitch Music & Arts and Hopkins Creek festival to name a few.
Alongside Melbourne via Copenhagen’s DJ Camov as Project 95, the pair of 90s house enthusiasts have been called upon to set the tone for house music royalty the likes of Glenn Underground, and have been found winding back the clock for club nights like Naarm’s ATET, Lucid and Lost Weekend, Boorloo’s Co-Op and ONO Records, Eora’s Vibe Positive and at Pitch Music & Arts in country Victoria.

Behind the scenes Mac has facilitated some of his city’s most well-loved parties, co-running the former weekly club night Lost Weekend before launching the summer open-air series Made in the Shade in 2022 alongside Best Effort Records, hosting the likes of Stockholm’s Doc Jay, Aarhus’ duo C.K and Central, and Sydney’s Adi Toohey. 

Myles’ ever-expanding sonics can also be heard in some of his deep extended blends for the likes of Trushmix, For Home Use Only, c-, Odyssee, Juanita’s NYC, Smoke Machine’s Hylo Series, and regularly at home on the Deepcast via his annual MDC Review, a yearly wrap-up he’s been running since 2013.
