Alex Albrecht’s blends classical jazz structures with modern electronic tones, creating deeply soulful music that coasts between contextually responsive ambient music, to deep late night d-floor movers. His live performances are always in flux, gracefully evading expectation.

Alex’s records are keenly soughtafter, with releases on Mule Musiq, Scissor & Thread, Butter Sessions and his own imprint, Analogue Attic, to name just a few. On the stage he’s graced many local institutions and has performed at a slew of the globes most revered underground destinations, from Bassiani in Georgia, to Public Records in New York.

With his label having over 20 releases internationally, his music has been reviewed and recognised by such media outlets as Stamp the Wax, XLR8R, Beat Magazine and Resident Advisor. 

Alex continues to be one of Australia’s most distinguished exports, shining a light on the deeper and more textural side of dance music.
