Brooke Powers has carved out a name for herself in the Melbourne clubbing landscape, bringing an unmistakably idiosyncratic vibe with every performance. Having been featured in peak-time sets at Golden Plains Festival, Dark Mofo, and Freedom Time and supporting titans including Honey Dijon, The Black Madonna and Juliana Huxtable. Her selections begin with her penchant for Garage House and extend outwards, through classic New York cuts, Chicago minimalism, all the way through to tribal, acid, and techno.

After a series of transformative experiences on dancefloors - discovering disco, house, and techno - the club quickly became her sanctuary. She now curates her own club night, ‘Spank!’, a cross-genre party both giving local up- and-comers a platform to show their skills, and queers a creative and unique space to dance to big international acts.

Brooke’s sets are a reflection of herself - energetic, unpredictable, passionate, and honest - inspired by queerness, sex, drugs, and feminism. She digs deep into the lineage of dance music, and while her with sets are centred around house she isn’t constrained by any genre or mood. Brooke blends genres and emotions across decades of club music to take you on a journey.
