Georgia Bird is a DJ and producer from Naarm/Melbourne, now based in Berlin, whose sound moves between hypnotic club music, minimal grooves and psychedelic textures. With years spent immersed in Australia’s underground dance scene, she has developed a distinct approach to the dancefloor - one grounded in restraint, repetition and a strong sense of movement.
As a DJ, Georgia has held a residency at iconic Melbourne venue Revolver Upstairs and appeared at festivals such as Meredith, Pitch Music & Arts and Strawberry Fields, alongside her work as one half of Australian duo IN2STELLAR. She is also a resident artist with Prague and Berlin-based label Harmony Rec. Recently having her Berghain debut with the label. Her sets draw on a wide-ranging palette of minimal, tech house, techno and psychedelic sounds, with an instinct for building tension and connection across extended dancefloors.
Her solo production has developed through a period of exploration and contrast. Debut EP Bird On The Wire turned inward, exploring dub techno, liquid D&B and ambient textures, while her latest release Move Like That marks a return to the club - built around rolling basslines, intricate percussion, hypnotic grooves and subtle melodic detail. Written between Australia and Europe, the EP reflects Georgia’s ongoing connection to underground dance music communities across both hemispheres, while capturing a more focused and assured chapter in her development as a producer.
Beyond her own releases, Georgia has built a strong connection to independent music communities through her work with Neurotiq Erotiq and Phenomena Records, as well as collaborations and releases through IN2STELLAR with artists including Confidence Man and Papa Nugs.
Now based in Berlin, Georgia continues to develop a sound that sits between the intimate and the expansive - music designed for late-night rooms, long-form journeys and the spaces in between.
