Melbourne's Nite Fleit has quickly cultivated a distinct sound of her own in the Australian scene, one that is suspended between unrefined electro, abrasive acid, banging rave techno and dystopian EBM. Her obsessive DJ practice has seen Nite Fleit quickly soar towards prominence; perpetually recording mixtapes of her ahead of the curve sound.
Her distinctly driving DJ sets see her regularly headlining shows, open air and warehouse parties across Australia, along with sets at festivals such as Pitch, Let Them Eat Cake, Melbourne Music Week and Splendour in the Grass. On a few occasions, she's explored a more subdued style to perform a hybrid audio-visual set at MONA’s Dark Mofo, and has played in institutional art spaces such as the MCA Australia and the Biennale of Sydney.
Recently directing her attention to production, Nite Fleit ignites her debut EP on Steel City Dance Discs with four dark, uncompromising electro/techno hybrids. Safety wear required for the very powerful debut and the UK/Euro tour to follow.
